5 tournies left……… 10-11 WSOP spots up for grabs……… Half the field of 25 that showed could reach 100 points with a win. \u00a0Bustouts in this one came really slow as the players in the top 20 really dug in to try and get those points.<\/p>\n

Contenders Larry Foster and Paul Albert were amongst the first to go. Next of the contenders to go was Reem, and it left a whopping 7 players left at\u00a0the final table bubble with eyes on getting to 100.<\/p>\n

Unfortunatly for Ian he was out in 10th and the\u00a0“Technical Final Table” of Tony Gags, Amo, Christine, Gordo, Magda, Ed Tsai, Geoffrey B., John Marsh, and \u00a0Gerry S was set, \u00a0as this one only paid 6 spots.<\/p>\n

Gerry and Amo were the first two to go and we had our points bubble. \u00a0In what was a very tight Final Table it was John Marsh who was the unfortunate points bubble when his top pair ran into Aces.<\/p>\n

In what seemed like a 6 handed table that lasted forever, Ed Tsai was out in 6th with 3 points. \u00a0Next to go was Tony Gags, who once again played super nit, squeezing \u00a0out extra points to move up the ladder, \u00a0was out in 5th earning 7 points and putting him for the time being in 2nd overall with 134. \u00a0Geoffrey B was our 4th place finisher earning 12 points. That left Magda, Gordo, and Christine to battle for very important points to each of them at this stage of the season. \u00a0Magda ended in 3rd and earning 23 points, putting her at 121 and into 5th at the time.<\/p>\n

Heads up between Gordo and Christine, showed off Christine’s skills as she ground down a massive chip lead from Gordo. \u00a0In the end it was a major hand where Gordo A6 was out run by Christine’s K5 preflop and a few hands later Christine took the tourny down when her A2 held vs Q9.<\/p>\n

Gordo got 34 points for runner up finish, and with only one tourny left to play, will need a win to have a chance at a seat<\/p>\n

With Christine’s win she earned 46 points and moved up to a tie for 2nd with Tony Gags, while locking up a seat to the WSOP. \u00a0The only drama left is will she be able to play with a little LaMonaca on the way…..<\/p>\n
