out the big brain on Brad!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">28 players showed up to do battle in Event 7.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Many of the players at the top of the leaderboard were not in attendance which presented an opportunity for several players to move up the leaderboard.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Event 6 winner Rob Astarita was not able to repeat and went out just shy of the final table.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2083 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/piranhapokerteam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/image1-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/piranhapokerteam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/image1-1.jpeg 640w, https:\/\/piranhapokerteam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/image1-1-300x225.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Two 5 handed tables lasted for quite a while until newcomer Enriq Ma busted and the final 9 was set.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>6 positions paid out so three unlucky final table participants would go home empty.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Bill Sims lost 44 vs 88 to Sheng Xie, Joe Weibelhaus had his A6 lose to AJ, and Pepito Pea ran an all in river bluff into a king high flush to set the final 6.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mike Wu found himself short stacked and had to shove 44 but ran it into AJ and lost the race and went out 6.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Mike earned 5 points for his first score of the season.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Jefferson Dong went out next when he shoved his short stack into the middle with 54 and lost to 77.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>JD earned 9 points for his 5<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> place finish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Rob Reece was the next to go in 4<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> place and 16 points.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">That left Sheng Xie with the chip lead, Esmarelda Alderete in 2<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>nd<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> and Brad Jensen third in chips.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Esmarelda had maintained the shortest stack through most of the final table but kept alive through several key double ups.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Perhaps the key hand of the tournament happened when Brad opened on the button with TT and Esmarelda shoved all in.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Sheng folded and Brad took a moment and called and was all in for his tournament life.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Esmarelda had AQ but she couldn\u2019t outrace the pair and Brad took the chip lead and left her again with a short stack.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>A short time later Esmarelda shoved 88 and got called by Brad\u2019s AJ.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>An ace on the flop sealed her third place finish.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Esmarelda earned 25 points and her strong early season run left her in the overall season points lead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Heads up play only lasted a few hands as Brad held a sizeable chip lead vs Sheng.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Sheng shoved all in with Q6 and was called by Brad\u2019s KJ.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The board brought no help to Sheng who took home 36 points for 2<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>nd<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> place and moved into a tie for 4<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> overall.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Brad\u2019s second victory of the season have him 49 points and put him right behind Esmarelda in second place overall.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2084 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/piranhapokerteam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/image1.jpeg\" alt=\"\"
