Congratulations to Aaron Beckwith who survived 23 other players to take down Tournament 1 of Season 19 on September 14th, 2024.
Aaron battled Dom Chan who was trying to win his 3rd tournament in a row dating back to Season 18. Dom’s run of recent success was stopped as Aaron’s aggressiveness and unorthodox play took it down.
The final hand was when Dom’s King 9 did not improve to Aaron’s Ace Jack
Tournament 1 was the largest Piranha tournament since before the Pandemic as we were joined by both returning players as well as new players.
In fact, new players Ryan Sarmiento and Bill Koo got points with their 3rd and 4th place finishes.
