Oaks Tournament. I was in the BB with about 30BB’s behind. Decent stack at this point in the tournament.
UTG (good player – 18-19 BBs) raised to 5 BB’s – seemed ready to put it all in – mid position player went all in for about 10 BBs. I had AQ hearts, and folded thinking that I was up against big pair and AK. As I folded I said “best hand I’ve folded today.” UTG called.
They turned over KK (UTG) and QQ.
Flop was K 10 hearts, 8 spades. Turn was J hearts and who gives a damn what the river was.
